Trine 6: Together in Time set for September release

Developer Frozenbyte has announced Trine 6: Together in Time, the next entry in its co-operative platforming series. The game will launch on September 17 for multiple platforms.

The title introduces two new characters, siblings Moira the Acrobat and Adrius the Squire, whose story connects with returning heroes Amadeus the Wizard, Zoya the Thief and Pontius the Knight. Players can choose from these five characters in one to four player sessions. A new Time-Slow ability joins the side-scrolling platform and puzzle gameplay. Enemies will feature distinct abilities such as shielding or strengthening allies, while bosses combine combat, traversal and environmental challenges. Puzzles follow a co-op-first design where any character can solve them, though solo modes include adjusted versions. Local and online co-op are supported along with crossplay. The game reaches PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC via Steam and Epic.
