West Virginia man charged in woman's murder after job offer

Donald Pennington, 59, has been charged with second-degree murder and concealment of a body in the death of Angel Whitaker. Authorities say he killed her after offering her a job and dumped her remains in the woods.

Donald Pennington is being held at the Southern Regional Jail in Raleigh County, West Virginia. He was booked on May 13 after investigators linked him to the death of Angel Whitaker through Facebook messages, surveillance footage, and witness statements. Her body was found in a wooded area near Bastian, Virginia, about 18 miles from Bluefield where Pennington lived.
