Wuthering Waves 3.0 banners schedule announced for late 2025

The Wuthering Waves version 3.0 update is set to launch on December 25, 2025, introducing new resonators and weapons through phased banner events. These banners will allow players to pull for characters and gear using in-game currencies over two 21-day periods. The schedule details new five-star additions alongside reruns of popular options.

Wuthering Waves, a popular action RPG, will receive its version 3.0 update on December 25, 2025, coinciding with Christmas. This patch promises fresh content, including new resonators, events, and banner systems known as convenes for characters and dedicated pulls for weapons. Banners function as limited-time events where players spend currencies for chances at rewards, with guarantees after a set number of pulls, typical of gacha mechanics.

The update's banners divide into two phases, each lasting 21 days. Phase 1 begins alongside the update launch. It features resonator banners for Lynae, a new five-star character; Cartethyia, returning in a limited-time slot; and Ciaccona, another rerun. Corresponding weapon banners include Spectrum Blaster, Lynae's signature five-star; Defier's Thorn for Cartethyia; and Woodland Aria for Ciaccona.

Phase 2 starts on January 15, 2025—though this date follows the prior phase across the new year. Resonator options here are Mornye, a new five-star; Augusta, in rerun; and Iuno, also returning. Weapons comprise Starfield Calibrator, Mornye's signature broadblade; Thunderflare Dominion, a rerun broadblade; and Moongazer's Sigil, a rerun gauntlet.

These banners highlight the game's ongoing evolution, blending debuts with fan-favorite returns to sustain player engagement. Developers have teased additional guides for resonator builds and events in future updates. The schedule underscores Wuthering Waves' commitment to regular content drops in the gacha landscape.
