Rögle captain Bengtsson's OT winner lifts BK to 2-1 victory in SM finals Game 3

Rögle BK defeated Skellefteå AIK 2-1 in overtime in Game 3 of the 2026 SHL SM finals on Monday, trimming Skellefteå's series lead to 2-1 after earlier losses of 1-4 and 5-1. Captain Anton Bengtsson scored the decider at 6:16 of OT despite a third-period injury, assisted by returning Linus Sandin. Coach Dan Tangnes praised the team's grit amid absences of forwards Dennis Everberg and Daniel Zaar.
Örebro Volley lost the third and decisive SM final match to Engelholm 1–3 in sets (23–25, 17–25, 25–18, 19–25) and must settle for silver. Captain Elsa Arrerstad says she might play one more season if the club invests in gold, otherwise she will retire. Haylee Nelson, 25, who lost the final with Engelholm to Örebro in 2024, is content with the silver.
