The Indonesian government through the Ministry of Religious Affairs has set 1 Zulhijah 1447 Hijriah to fall on Monday May 18 2026. Accordingly the Idul Adha holiday on 10 Zulhijah will be celebrated on Wednesday May 27 2026.
Registrations for the Seleksi Prestasi Akademik Nasional (SPAN-PTKIN) 2026 pathway reached 143,948 students from 12,174 educational units across Indonesia. For the first time, applicants from madrasahs outnumbered those from general schools, highlighting the competitiveness of state Islamic religious universities (PTKIN).
