The Stockport indie band Blossoms has launched its first new music since the 2024 album 'Gary' with the energetic single 'Joke About Divorce'. Produced by Shawn Lee and released via ODD SK Recordings and Distiller Music, the track features frontman Tom Ogden's playful lyrics about a relationship spat. Ogden also directed and edited the theatrical, pink-washed video.

Macorley Collins, a 27-year-old from Stockport, has been sentenced to 32 months in prison for a series of burglaries that primarily targeted vulnerable elderly residents. The crimes, which occurred between September and December 2025, involved stealing valuable items including war medals and a Rolex watch.
