Stockport's popular free street festival, Stock Party, will return on July 4 for a larger town-wide block party. Organizers promise an expanded event featuring street food, pop-up bars, DJ sets, and family-friendly activities across key town locations. The collaboration involves Track Brewing Co., Robinsons Brewery, Cloudwater, SK1 Records, Totally Stockport, and new partner Stockport County FC.

The Stockport indie band Blossoms has launched its first new music since the 2024 album 'Gary' with the energetic single 'Joke About Divorce'.
