Stockport's Stock Party festival returns this summer

Stockport's popular free street festival, Stock Party, will return on July 4 for a larger town-wide block party. Organizers promise an expanded event featuring street food, pop-up bars, DJ sets, and family-friendly activities across key town locations. The collaboration involves Track Brewing Co., Robinsons Brewery, Cloudwater, SK1 Records, Totally Stockport, and new partner Stockport County FC.

Stock Party transforms Stockport into an open-air celebration of its independent spirit. The event spans from the Great Underbank through Stockport Market Place and the Underbanks to Robinsons Brewery Yard. It runs from 12pm to 9pm on Saturday, July 4, with free entry for all. Local businesses will join in, offering street bars, takeaway drinks, and pop-up DJs throughout the day and into an after-party pub rave at Red Bull on Hillgate. Organizers highlight Robinsons Brewery Yard as a major hub, where Track, Robinsons, and Uskees will serve beers alongside music curated by Odioba and food from Honest Crust pizza and ISCA. On the Underbank, Cloudwater will pour beers while SK1 Records spins decks outside their new shop, joined by food traders like Mekong Cat and The Spinn Off. Stockport Market Place features a Red Bull DJ stage. Family activities include a breakout space in Stockroom, pottery and photography workshops in Merseyway, craft sessions in Good Yard Studio, and a free family disco with inflatable instruments at Hillgate Cakery. The Apple Core will host a wellness space with a social run, curated exhibition, and evening music. Participating venues like Bruk, Runaway Brewery, Noah’s, and others will offer special cocktails, pizzas, tacos, and more.
