Gorillaz made their debut as musical guests on Saturday Night Live on March 7, hosted by Ryan Gosling. The virtual band performed their 2001 hit 'Clint Eastwood' and a new track 'The Moon Cave' from their latest album The Mountain. The episode also featured a surprise cameo by Harry Styles during the opening monologue.
Gorillaz collaborated with Sparks for a theatrical performance of “The Happy Dictator” on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The track appears on Gorillaz’s latest album, The Mountain, released on February 27 via their Kong label. Damon Albarn and Russell Mael shared vocals during the show.
