Prison inmates in Uttar Pradesh achieved high success rates in UP Board exams. Of 68 who appeared for Class 10, 67 passed, while 114 out of 135 cleared Class 12. Most districts recorded 100% pass rates.
Prison inmates across Uttar Pradesh jails performed impressively in the recently declared UP Board exam results. For Class 10, 67 out of 68 inmates passed, achieving a 98.53% pass rate.
Most districts saw 100% success rates. Varanasi was the only exception with a slightly lower rate, as 5 out of 6 inmates cleared the exam (83.33%). In Bareilly, 9 inmates succeeded, and all 7 who appeared in Lucknow passed.
At the intermediate (Class 12) level, 114 out of 135 inmates passed, for an 84.44% pass percentage. Agra recorded 15 out of 17 (88.24%), Bareilly 14 out of 18 (77.78%), Lucknow 6 out of 7 (85.71%), Gautam Buddha Nagar 4 out of 6 (66.67%), and Mirzapur 17 out of 18 (94.44%).
Districts including Mainpuri, Mathura, Aligarh, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Rampur, Unnao, Kanpur Nagar, Fatehpur, Etawah, Hamirpur, and Jaunpur achieved 100% pass rates in intermediate exams.
