Malmö FF turned 2–2 into 5–2 against Halmstads BK at Stadion. Erik Botheim scored three goals in under eight minutes in the second half.

Erik Botheim started his hat-trick with the 3–2 goal in the 60th minute. Two minutes later he made it 4–2 and completed the performance with 5–2 in the 68th minute.
Molins described the feeling after fans sang his name: ”It was a lot of emotions. I have not heard it in six years and was about to break down.” Botheim said the victory felt good after a tough period.
It was the team’s first win in five matches. Botheim now has seven goals in the Allsvenskan this season.
