Senator Flávio Bolsonaro held a live stream on Wednesday (24) without directly addressing criticism from former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro.
Flávio said that “nothing and no one” would bother him because it was the day of Brazil’s World Cup match against Scotland. He appeared alongside his wife Fernanda and called for Bolsonarista unity ahead of the 2026 elections.
Michelle posted Instagram videos accusing Flávio of disrespect during a phone call about the PL’s alliance in Ceará. She said the senator was abrupt, advised her to stay out of party decisions and treated her as someone who “arrived yesterday.”
The senator visited his father Jair Bolsonaro earlier the same day and stressed that what is at stake in Brazil is bigger than personal vanities. PL sources indicated that Michelle’s video ended an attempt at a truce between the two.
