Funeral of artist Semahagn Belew takes place

The funeral of veteran cultural music artist Semahagn Belew was held today in Addis Ababa.

Semahagn Belew, also known as Seme Balageru, passed away yesterday after receiving medical treatment for an illness.

The funeral service took place at Bulbula Medhane Alem Church in Addis Ababa. It was attended by family members, friends, relatives and fans.

Among the popular songs he contributed to the public are Ney Zemediye, Endet Nesh, Debot Enisra, Zena Bey and Balager.
