The top-ranked Illinois women's track and field team will send 13 athletes to the NCAA Indoor Championships, while the No. 14 men's squad sends five. The event takes place March 13-14 at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Standout performers include national leaders in long jump, pentathlon, and weight throw for the women, and heptathlon for the men.
