Indonesia U-19 began the AFF U-19 Cup 2026 with a 3-0 victory over Myanmar on Monday (1/6/2026) at Stadion Utama Sumatera Utara.
Coach Nova Arianto said the team was grateful for the three points. He stressed that evaluation was still needed to improve performance in the next match.
"There is still evaluation so that the kids can be better for the next game," Nova said. He also noted that the players' confidence level was not yet maximal.
Indonesia leads Group A standings with three points. The team will face Timor Leste on Thursday (4/6/2026).
