Salah Gomaa, Minister of State for Military Production, chaired a meeting with the boards of directors of companies and units under the ministry to assess financial performance for the first quarter of 2026, from January 1 to March 31.

The minister directed improvements in productivity and operations by delegating authority to speed up workflows and ensure quick task implementation. He called for addressing technical and production issues through coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and by drawing on ideas from researchers and specialists.

Gomaa urged the introduction of effective financial incentives to motivate staff, alongside electricity rationalisation measures that spare production capacity. These include monitoring boiler efficiency, managing idle CNC machines, and maximising natural lighting in administrative areas.

Further instructions covered stricter inventory oversight and product shelf-life monitoring, regular custody record reviews, weekly production challenge follow-ups, prompt complaint responses, employee suggestion integration, industrial safety equipment provision, and training programme updates aligned with workforce specialities.

The session aligns with the ministry's strategy to enhance efficiency, bolster employee performance, sustain production, and optimise resources.
