Neiva's Metropolitan Police captured Arnold Sánchez Rubio, a 26-year-old man wanted for attempted homicide and violation of another's home. The arrest took place in Comuna Cuatro during registration and control operations.
The Special Operations Group (GOES) of Neiva's Metropolitan Police arrested Arnold Sánchez Rubio in the city's Comuna Cuatro. Officers checked his background and confirmed an active arrest warrant for attempted homicide and violation of another's home.
"Thanks to registration and control plans, as well as background checks on individuals, carried out by GOES officers in Comuna 4, where upon verifying a citizen's judicial information, a positive report was found for attempted homicide and violation of another's home," said Colonel Héctor Jairo Betancourt Rojas, commander of Neiva's Metropolitan Police.
Colonel Betancourt Rojas emphasized that the capture is part of institutional strategies to reduce crime. He noted that operational controls at strategic points prove effective and that police will intensify them across sectors to create safer environments.
