The occupants were identified as Aswanth, 34, a manager at Accord Distilleries Private Limited in T. Nagar, and Kurumban, 31, an office staff member at the same firm. Both individuals are under questioning for valid documentation, according to police sources.

The cash was found unaccounted for, amid checks possibly linked to Tamil Nadu elections. Investigations continue as authorities probe the circumstances.
