They first faced defending champions from Italy, Stefania Constantini and Amos Mosaner. South Korea took an early lead with one point in the first end via Kim's final-stone takeout, but Italy responded with six unanswered points over the next three ends to seize control. South Korea clawed back one in the fifth, only for Italy to add two in the sixth. The Koreans' two points in the seventh came too late, ending in an 8-4 loss.
In the afternoon, they met Switzerland's Briar Schwaller-Huerlimann and Yannick Schwaller. Leading 2-1, South Korea saw their advantage vanish in the third end as Switzerland scored four points on Schwaller-Huerlimann's promotion takeout. The Koreans narrowed it to 6-5 with two in the sixth, but Switzerland sealed the 8-5 win with another takeout for two more points.
At 0-3 in the round-robin stage, South Korea sits last among 10 teams, with six matches remaining. The top four advance to Monday's semifinals, followed by Tuesday's bronze medal match and final. This pairing marks South Korea's debut in Olympic mixed doubles curling.
