Three missing students found alive in Puerto Vallarta

Jalisco authorities found three young people reported missing since June 25 alive in Puerto Vallarta.

The Jalisco Prosecutor's Office activated search protocols after the report of the students' disappearance in the El Zancudo area. The located youths are Flor Yoselin Espinoza Contreras, 18; José Israel Ramos Mejía, 17; and Elvira Monserrat Guzmán Mascorro, 14.

The three contacted their families to report they were well, though they indicated they would not return for now. They were found at a relative's home and authorities confirmed their good health.

The investigation file remains open to clarify the circumstances of their disappearance. Three other adolescents who disappeared on June 30 after graduating from Secundaria Técnica 113 in Lomas del Paraíso are still missing.
