Two after-school animators were charged and placed in provisional detention on Friday evening in Paris.
The two men, aged 52 and 44 and born in Brazil and Cameroon, had worked at École Saint-Dominique. They appeared before a judge for liberty and detention after a police operation carried out on Wednesday.
They are suspected of sexual and physical violence in the after-school program. Their lawyers called for caution in the case.
The matter has caused strong concern among parents and is the subject of political debate.
