Amanda Vasconcelos, wife of singer Henrique from the duo with Juliano, was released from prison in the United States on Tuesday (3/2) after paying bail. The influencer was detained on Monday for disobeying a police stop order and driving with an expired license. The incident took place in Orange County, Florida.
Amanda Vasconcelos, digital influencer and wife of sertanejo singer Henrique since 2018, mother of two children and daughter of the general commander of the Tocantins Military Police, was detained on Monday (2/2) during a traffic stop in Orange County, Florida. According to official records, she ignored police orders to stop, even with lights and sirens activated, resulting in a charge of 'flight from police vehicle with sirens on,' a serious infraction classified as a felony under local legislation.
Additionally, Amanda was cited for driving with an expired Brazilian driver's license, which worsened the situation. A mugshot of her circulated on social media, but she did not remain in custody for long. On Tuesday (3/2), following an initial hearing described as 'excellent' by the Leo Dias portal, the court ordered her release upon payment of bail, a U.S. legal mechanism that allows the defendant to respond to the process at liberty, with a commitment to attend hearings.
With legal support, the requirements were met quickly, allowing Amanda to leave the prison unit on the same day. To date, neither singer Henrique nor the influencer has made a public statement about the incident. The case highlights the challenges faced by Brazilians abroad with traffic and documentation issues.
