AAP alleges corruption in Delhi tenders under BJP

The Aam Aadmi Party accused the BJP government of irregularities in tender processes in Delhi, claiming favoritism toward selected contractors.

AAP Delhi president Saurabh Bharadwaj made the claims during a press conference on June 19. He said tender specifications were altered to benefit specific individuals connected to the ruling party.

Bharadwaj referred to an FIR filed on June 18 at Laxmi Nagar Police Station. The complaint by Shweta Arora alleged that a person close to the BJP demanded commission related to Health Department tenders.

The party also pointed to similar issues in tenders for medicines, equipment and supplies for hospitals. The Delhi BJP offered no response to the allegations.
