Kejriwal to visit Ram Mandir over donation theft allegations

Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal said on Monday that he will visit Ayodhya on Friday to offer prayers at the Ram Mandir. He alleged theft of offerings at the temple and criticised the BJP-led governments at the Centre and in Uttar Pradesh for not registering an FIR.

Kejriwal stated that every Sanatani is deeply hurt by reports of the theft.

“Crores of rupees in offerings have been stolen from Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Despite this, no FIR has been registered so far. In this case, neither has the Uttar Pradesh police registered an FIR nor have the ED or CBI filed any case,” he said.

He further alleged that several influential persons are involved and that proper action could lead to the fall of the government.
