Swedish defenseman Alexander Lindelöf has signed with Aalborg Pirates for the upcoming season in the Danish Metal Ligaen.
The 30-year-old defender agreed to terms with the Danish club after a season split between Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
Lindelöf began last season with Dukla Michalovce in Slovakia before moving to HC Baník Sokolov in the Czech second division, where he recorded three goals and 10 points in 20 games.
"I have received a very positive impression of the club, the ambitions and the passionate fans. It seems to be the right place for me," Lindelöf said on the Aalborg website.
He left Swedish hockey in 2024 and won the French championship with Rouen. Before that he played 302 games in HockeyAllsvenskan and appeared in the SHL with Brynäs.
