Apple to add auto-deleting chat options for updated Siri

Apple plans to introduce auto-deleting chat features in its revamped Siri app. Users will be able to select how long conversations are retained, with choices of 30 days, one year or permanently.

Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman said the new options will mirror settings already available in Apple's Messages app. Users will also control whether Siri starts each chat with prior context or begins fresh each time.
