얼터너티브 록 밴드 바비스 크레이들(Barbie's Cradle)이 신곡 'Emergency'를 발표하고 8월 1일 하룻밤 동안 콘서트를 개최한다.
마지막 앨범 이후 20여 년 만에 바비스 크레이들은 새로운 곡을 녹음하기 위해 재결합했다. 첫 번째 싱글 'Emergency'는 카코이 레가스피(Kakoy Legaspi)가 20대에 작곡한 곡이다.
이번 콘서트는 산후안 시티의 뮤직 뮤지엄(Music Museum)에서 열린다. 수익금의 상당 부분은 당뇨 합병증으로 인한 심장마비로 입원 중인 베이시스트 로멜 델라 크루즈(Rommel dela Cruz)의 치료비를 위해 사용될 예정이다.
멤버들은 공식적인 재결합 계획 없이 자연스럽게 복귀하게 되었다고 밝혔다. 이들은 그동안 예전 작업 파일들을 통해 계속 음악을 공유해 왔다.
