Blue Chip launches first dedicated balancer for mares

Blue Chip has introduced Happy Mare balancer, the United Kingdom's first feed product designed specifically for hormonal mares. The new supplement aims to support nutritional needs and maintain a normal oestrus cycle.

The balancer combines botanical ingredients such as chaste tree berry, raspberry leaf and dandelion with essential vitamins, minerals and digestive support. It is formulated to promote even temperament, steady energy levels and overall wellbeing in mares. Owners can feed the product as a small daily serving, either mixed with feed or by hand, making it suitable for fussy eaters. A 3 kg recyclable pouch carries a recommended retail price of £31.75 and lasts one month for a 500 kg horse. The product is not recommended for pregnant mares or broodmares due to its chaste tree berry content. Blue Chip positions the launch as a practical alternative to adding separate supplements to existing rations.
