The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka has suspended the candidature of 36 candidates after malpractice was reported during the COMEDK UGET 2026 exams at three centres in Jamshedpur.
The computer-based tests were held on May 9 across India, with results announced on May 29. COMEDK has notified each of the 36 candidates individually.
The candidates have been given an opportunity to appear before COMEDK authorities in Bengaluru on or before July 10. They will be allowed to inspect the material establishing their involvement and present their explanation before any final decision is taken regarding cancellation or debarment.
The choice filling for the mock allotment will commence from July 11. The online counselling process will continue as scheduled.
