Crashdïet releases single Satizfaction ahead of Art Of Chaos album

Swedish glam metal band Crashdïet has unveiled their new single 'Satizfaction' as a preview to their seventh studio album, Art Of Chaos, scheduled for release on May 8 via Ninetone Records. The band describes the album as featuring their sleaziest tracks in years, blending raw attitude with big hooks. This marks a revitalized chapter for the group with new lead vocalist John Elliot.

Crashdïet, formed in Stockholm in 2000, has endured a challenging history marked by lineup changes and personal tragedies, yet remains a torchbearer for glam metal influences like Skid Row, Guns N’ Roses, and KISS. The band’s original frontman, Dave Lepard, passed away in 2006, but Crashdïet persisted with subsequent vocalists including Oliver Twisted, Simon Cruz, and Gabriel Keyes. Now, John Elliot, previously of sleaze rock band Confess, takes the microphone, bringing fresh energy to the lineup alongside Martin Sweet on guitar, Chris Young on bass, and Michael Sweet on drums.

The new album, Art Of Chaos, promises a return to the band’s early sound with high-voltage tracks full of big choruses, razor-sharp riffs, and signature swagger. As the band states, it contains “the ten sleaziest tracks we’ve written in ages.” The lead single, “Satizfaction,” is now available for streaming and download, offering fans an immediate taste of this evolution while honoring the group’s legacy across six prior albums.

Pre-orders for the CD and LP editions are open directly through the band’s shop. Crashdïet’s journey underscores the resilience of rock ‘n’ roll, proving that despite setbacks, their relentless energy continues to drive them forward in a tumultuous music scene.
