Ed Sheeran leaves Warner Music Group after 15 years

Ed Sheeran has parted ways with Atlantic Records and Asylum Records after a 15-year partnership with Warner Music Group. The split occurred last month on amicable terms.

The singer-songwriter announced the news in a newsletter to fans on Friday. He described the move as a natural shift rather than a conflict, noting his evolution from a teenage artist to a father of two with new professional priorities. Sheeran released his debut album Plus in 2011 and followed with six more projects including Multiply, Divide, Subtract, Equals, and Play under the labels.
