Alt-country band Divorce becomes two-piece after departures

Nottingham alt-country group Divorce has announced it will continue as a duo following the departure of two founding members. Drummer Kasper Sandstrom and lead guitarist Adam Peter Smith shared the news on social media yesterday. The remaining members plan to move forward in a new era for the band.

The band issued a statement confirming that Sandstrom and Smith had decided to step away to focus on personal lives. They described the past five years as fulfilling and noted their first practice together in spring 2021 and their last show in Massachusetts. The members stressed they are not framing the change as a divorce despite the band's name.
