Employment letters distributed under Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana in Chennai

The Ministry of Labour and Employment organised a programme on Saturday to disburse employment letters under the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana at multiple venues in Chennai.

The event took place at Indian Bank Management Academy for Growth and Excellence in MRC Nagar, the Central Institute of Classical Tamil and six other locations. At the academy venue, 750 participants attended, including 450 beneficiaries and 122 employers. Sixty employment letters were handed out there.

At the Central Institute of Classical Tamil, 96 beneficiaries and 14 employers took part, with 10 letters distributed. Officials from the state government, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation and the central labour department attended the gatherings.

In total, 70 employment letters were disbursed during the national event across the Chennai venues.
