Börje Ekholm will leave his position as CEO of Ericsson on 30 September after nearly ten years. He is succeeded by Per Narvinger who has worked at the company since 1997.
Ericsson announced today that Börje Ekholm will step down as CEO and president on 30 September this year. He has been a board member since 2006 and CEO since 2017.
Chairman Jan Carlson thanked Ekholm for his extraordinary leadership and strategic progress. Ekholm will remain as an advisor until June next year.
Per Narvinger who heads the networks business area takes over. He described it as a great honour to assume the role at the company where he has spent his entire professional career.
