Addis Yihune claimed victory in the men's 5000 meters at the Diamond League event in Xiamen, China, finishing in 12:57.32.
Addis Yihune completed the race at the second Diamond League stop of 2026 in the Chinese city of Xiamen. His time marked the fastest of the year and set a new meet record.
Biniyam Mehari finished in third place. In the women's 1500 meters, Birke Haylom took second.
Kena Tufa placed fifth in the women's 3000 meters steeplechase. Other Ethiopian athletes also competed in the events.
