Four Tet has made a surprise eight-track album under his Wingdings moniker available to stream. The record first appeared on limited-edition vinyl in June before reaching streaming platforms earlier this month.
Kieran Hebden, known as Four Tet, released the unpronounceable LP on June 10 as a limited run of 2,000 vinyl copies that has since sold out. The album reached streaming services on July 3.
Hebden posted about the project on social media on July 9, drawing wider attention to the release. The Quietus was the first outlet to note the June 10 vinyl edition.
Hebden has remained active with live performances and one-off singles and remixes in recent years. This marks his first album under the Wingdings name, while his last official Four Tet album, Three, came out in 2024.
