Govee reveals new smart lighting products at CES 2026

At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Govee showcased innovative smart lighting solutions, including ceiling lights that mimic skylights and a versatile floor lamp. The lineup features advanced LED controls and AI integration for customizable effects. Compatibility with major smart home platforms has also been expanded.

Govee, known for its creative smart lighting, introduced several new products at CES 2026, held from January 4 to 9 in Las Vegas. Among the highlights is the Ceiling Light Ultra, described by the company as "the industry's first ceiling light designed as a true creative canvas." This fixture employs 616 individually controlled LEDs, the highest in its class according to Govee, allowing users to craft visuals via the Govee app with up to eight layers of motion, color, and shapes.

The Ceiling Light Ultra will integrate with an upcoming AI Lighting Bot 2.0 update, enabling compatible devices like the Gaming Pixel Light to generate dynamic GIF animations. For simpler needs, Govee offers the Ceiling Light with Blue Sky Effect, which emulates natural skylights "with high accuracy." Though less flexible with fewer LEDs, it suits spaces up to 300 square feet and functions as a standard white-light option.

Rounding out the announcements, the Govee Floor Lamp 3 features a 16-bit RGBIC array capable of reproducing over 281 trillion colors. Its white lighting spans 1000K to 10000K, and it includes a DaySync system to align effects with the time of day.

Details on release dates and pricing remain unavailable. However, Govee lights now support Samsung SmartThings, in addition to Matter, Alexa, and Google Assistant, broadening their interoperability in smart homes.

These developments underscore Govee's push toward more immersive and adaptive lighting experiences, potentially appealing to users seeking both artistic and practical illumination solutions.
