High summer heat expected this weekend reaching up to 27 degrees

Meteorologists forecast high summer heat this weekend with sun and temperatures up to 27 degrees in parts of Sweden.

According to meteorologist Lasse Rydqvist at Klart, less rain and rising temperatures are expected during the week. The weekend will be the warmest with sunny weather mainly in Götaland and the Mälardalen region.

– It is good to remember to apply sunscreen, especially this early in the season, says Lasse Rydqvist.

Monday will bring dry conditions across the country with 15 to 19 degrees in the south. A new low pressure system moves in on Tuesday and Wednesday bringing rain to Svealand and Norrland.
