Yellow warning for thunder during Midsummer in Örebro County

SMHI has issued a yellow warning for heavy thunder across Örebro County on Midsummer Day. The morning offers sun while the afternoon risks rain and thunder.

Midsummer Eve morning starts with sun and some clouds along with temperatures around 15 degrees. Meteorologist Linnea Rehn Wittskog at SMHI says it looks set to be a fine morning.

By lunchtime temperatures rise to 20–23 degrees with no risk of rain. The meteorologist confirms it is safe for outdoor Midsummer food even in the evening.

On Midsummer Day showers move in from the west with risk of heavy rain and thunder showers. The warning applies from 08 to 23 and road users are urged to be cautious.
