Hilary Duff launched her first tour in over a decade with a concert in London, where she debuted her 'Lizzie McGuire' anthem 'What Dreams Are Made of' live for the first time ever. The performance closed a 17-song set that mixed her past hits with tracks from her upcoming album. Fans have warmly received her recent singles, signaling a strong comeback.
On January 19, 2026, Hilary Duff took the stage at London's O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire for the kickoff of her Small Rooms, Big Nerves Tour, marking her first headlining run in 18 years and first concert since 2015. The intimate show featured 17 songs, including classics like “Wake Up” and “Come Clean” from her early catalog, alongside previews from her forthcoming album, Luck …or Something.
Duff saved the highlight for the encore, triumphantly performing “What Dreams Are Made of,” the 2003 track from The Lizzie McGuire Movie, which she had never sung live before. In a recent Therapuss interview with Jake Shane, Duff reflected on the song's origins: “I don’t even remember recording the Disney song, since I was only 14 at the time. But I will say, now I love it. And when I was filming the movie, I loved it. It was just a weird time, and it wasn’t technically my song. It was a Lizzie McGuire song.” She added, “When I sing it now, I feel a lot of joy. I just think there was such a separation back then of me and my music and Lizzie McGuire. I didn’t really get to perform that song live, because I didn’t own it.”
The album, co-produced with her husband Matthew Koma and Brian Phillips, arrives February 20 via Atlantic—her first full-length project since 2015’s Breathe In. Breathe Out.. Singles “Mature,” released in November 2025 and voted Best New Song of the Week, and “Roommates,” out January 15, 2026, have fueled excitement. “Roommates,” co-written with Koma and blending soft pop with direct lyrics, topped InMusic’s weekly fan poll with 54% of votes, ahead of releases by Madison Beer, NBA YoungBoy, and A$AP Rocky.
Upon announcing the album, Duff shared: “I am often asked how I still have my head on straight after growing up in this industry. The album title is my way of answering that question. It’s luck, but there’s also a lot of weight in the ‘…or something’. Many of the things I’ve been through along the way are held there, and I feel like ultimately that’s what’s shaped me.” The tour continues in Toronto on January 24, followed by U.S. dates including a Las Vegas residency, reconnecting Duff with her loyal fanbase.
