Hitachi Energy plans new 150 million building in Ludvika

Hitachi Energy has received approval to construct a new building at the industrial area in Ludvika. The project forms part of the company's billion investment and is expected to be completed by the end of 2027.

Hitachi Energy is investing in a new building in Ludvika that will house advanced testing equipment for transformers. The structure will have a total height of 27.4 meters and a gross area of approximately 1,550 square meters. It will be used for high-voltage testing within the transformer operations.

The project costs 150 million kronor and forms part of the company's larger billion investment. The municipality has granted approval for construction at the industrial area.

The building is expected to be completed by the end of 2027 according to the plans.
