Combined personnel from the TNI, Polri, and DKI Jakarta Provincial Government secured the eviction of the Hotel Sultan area at GBK Block 15 on Thursday, June 18, 2026.
A total of 3,161 personnel were deployed to secure the eviction process. Head of Public Relations at the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Police Commissioner Erlyn Sumantri, stated that the number was intended to ensure the operation proceeds safely and smoothly.
Metro Jaya Deputy Police Chief Brigadier General Dekananto Eko Purwono led a readiness briefing at the Gelora Bung Karno area. He affirmed that the eviction follows a final and binding court ruling.
GBK management closed Gates 5, 7, and 8 from 00:00 WIB to 24:00 WIB. The measure was taken to facilitate the clearing of the disputed land.
