Timnas Indonesia will undergo a full one-month training camp in Bali starting end of June 2026 to prepare for the ASEAN Championship 2026.
Badan Tim Nasional chairman Sumardji announced the plan on 17 June 2026 in Jakarta. The squad under coach John Herdman will train in Bali with the goal of winning the title for the first time in Southeast Asia.
The naturalization process for Luke Vickery and Mitchell Baker has received approval from Commission X and Commission XIII of the Indonesian House of Representatives. Sumardji said the two Australia-born players were Herdman's direct choices.
Around 23 players who previously attended a training camp are likely to be recalled, plus some new names. The tournament itself is scheduled to run from 24 July to 26 August 2026.
