Golkar Deputy Chairman Idrus Marham condemned the strike as a dangerous precedent harming humanity, especially during Ramadan. "This attack is not just a military operation. It is an action that wounds universal humanitarian values and threatens the foundation of world peace," he said on March 2, 2026. He highlighted civilian casualties, including children and women, and widespread damage in Tehran forcing thousands to flee. Idrus referenced Golkar Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia's views on respecting sovereignty and pressed Indonesia's government to push for a ceasefire in international forums.
