Kimi Antonelli claimed victory in the Monaco Grand Prix, securing his fifth successive Formula 1 win. The Mercedes driver started from pole and held off Lewis Hamilton after late chaos forced a red flag and restart with eight laps remaining.
Antonelli led every lap until the final restart. A safety car on lap 60 followed Lance Stroll's crash at Antoine Noghes, and Charles Leclerc's subsequent crash at the same corner prompted a red flag after a 40-minute pause. The 19-year-old maintained his lead into the first corner on the standing restart despite pressure from Hamilton. Antonelli built a gap that reached nearly 30 seconds before the interruptions and finished 6.271 seconds ahead. George Russell, Antonelli's title rival, finished 13th after failing to serve a five-second penalty. Isack Hadjar was promoted to third, while Oscar Piastri placed fourth.
