La Jaula de las Locas to premiere in Chile on July 15

The Broadway musical La Jaula de las Locas will arrive in Chile for the first time with a local cast. Its premiere is scheduled for July 15 at Teatro Estudio 13 in Providencia.

The production holds an official license from Concord Theatricals and features 28 performers on stage. It includes a live orchestra under the artistic direction of Eduardo Yedro and production by Rodrigo Leiva with Ca-Dos Producciones.

The main cast includes Felipe Castro, Gonzalo Muñoz Lerner, Katherine Mazoyer, Manuel Castro and Tati Fernández. The work, created by Jerry Herman and Harvey Fierstein, premiered on Broadway in 1983 and has won eight Tony Awards.

Performances will take place Wednesday through Sunday at 20.00 hours. Tickets are already available through TicketPro.
