M83 will release its new album I Wrote You a Letter on September 25 through Anthony Gonzalez’s Other Suns label. The record follows the band’s 2023 release Fantasy.
The album was made with collaborators Joe Berry, Clément Libes, and Benoit de Villeneuve. Gonzalez shared the news on Instagram and said more details would follow soon.
Since Fantasy, Gonzalez has released a soundtrack for the sci-fi art film Resurrection. The new album contains nine tracks, beginning with Blister Sunrise and ending with Traces of Love.
The full tracklist includes Opera, Siren / Behold… Beasts, Aged, Losing Ground, Soldiers of Lust, Heart Motion Foto, and Feeding Time.
