Man in his 60s indicted for selling his wife to over 100 men

A man in his 60s faces indictment for aggravated procuring after selling his wife to over 120 men for more than four years. The woman fled in autumn 2025 and alerted police. The charges also include rape, assault, and illegal threats.

A man in his 60s is indicted at Sundsvall District Court for aggravated procuring, eight counts of rape, four counts of assault, two counts of illegal threats, and a minor doping offense. Prosecutor Ida Annerstedt states that the man used coercive measures including death threats, alcohol, and narcotics to exploit the woman's vulnerable position.

The man allegedly created and edited online sex ads, handled customer contacts by impersonating his wife, and dictated the acts to be performed. Most purchases occurred in their home in Kramfors municipality, Västernorrland county, as he drove her there and stood guard outside. One purchase was digital under new legislation.

The woman fled in autumn 2025 and called 112 shortly before the man's arrest. Her victim counsel Silvia Ingolfsdottir describes it as a "ruthless exploitation" and states the woman hopes for redress. The man, previously identified as a local Hells Angels leader and charged with bookkeeping offenses, denies the allegations.

Indictments have also been filed against 26 men for purchasing sex from the woman, many of whom admit the acts. Evidence includes chat logs, surveillance footage, and witness statements.
