Man pleads guilty to stealing unreleased beyoncé music

Kelvin Evans pleaded guilty Tuesday in an Atlanta courtroom to charges related to the theft of hard drives containing unreleased Beyoncé music and tour materials. He accepted a five-year sentence that includes two years in custody followed by probation. The plea came one day after his trial began.

Evans had faced counts of criminal trespass and entering a vehicle with intent to commit theft after stealing suitcases from a rental Jeep in August 2025. The items belonged to Beyoncé's choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue, who were in Atlanta ahead of her Cowboy Carter tour stop. Prosecutors presented surveillance footage showing Evans taking the hard drives, which held unreleased music, set lists, and concert plans. None of the materials have been recovered.
