Away from budget debates in the National Assembly, Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella visited the agricultural fair in Poussay, Vosges, on Saturday. This trip fits their 'permanent campaign' strategy aiming for a hoped-for dissolution. They positioned themselves in support of the 'working France burdened by taxes'.
On Saturday, while budget debates were still animating the National Assembly, Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella opted to leave Paris for the agricultural fair in Poussay, Vosges. The nationalist duo from the Rassemblement National (RN) strolled among the tractors, underscoring their 'permanent campaign' strategy in hopes of a dissolution of the Assembly.
Jordan Bardella, leader of the party with the flame, described this move as support for the 'working France that is burdened by taxes.' This positioning aims to appear detached from partisan games in Paris. The day before, Marine Le Pen, two-time presidential finalist, had called certain debates a 'sketch.'
At the same time, the Insoumis criticized the absence of RN deputies in the chamber. Manuel Bompard charged from the corridors of the Palais Bourbon: 'Fictitious jobs are enough,' referring to images of the two leaders on the ground. This visit highlights the contrast between budgetary tensions in the Assembly and the RN's field approach.
